Question by Child of God: What are some speculations, predictions, and/or spoilers for Criminal Minds’ season 7 premiere?
I already know that:
1) it airs 9.21.11
2) Mark Moses is guest starring
3) Emily and JJ are returning, and Hotch is staying
4) the title is “It Takes A Village”
5) Emily’s death was faked…but she may not have been the one to fake it
6) the team is being scrutinized (by Moses) for financial reasons, so the team has to prove its worth
7) JJ is being promoted from Media Liason to profiler

-The premiere is centered around the prentiss/doyle situation
-Morgan is the first (besides Hotch and JJ of course) to find out that Emily’s death was faked because he was doing some “research over the summer”.
-Reid feels betrayed that he didn’t know about how Emily’s death was faked.
-One of Rossi’s ex-wives will be in the upcoming season.
-Remember how in the season finale, there were threats about how there may be changes and people may move on? According to one of the producers, that will come true to “some degree”.
-I’m sure you already know this, but they fired Rachel Nichols (Seaver).
-So far, there’s no word on how the writers are going to write Seaver off the show. Rumor has it that they’re “not even going to give her character a logical explanation, and instead just let her fade away”. In fact, she won’t even be in the season premiere. Apparantly, she didn’t even know that she was getting fired, but found out from the internet just like fans did, which is pretty crappy.
-This won’t happen in the premiere, but Reid’s headaches will be explained throughout season 7
-Strauss has a really big role in season 7 and a whole new side of her will be exposed. She, as well as Sergio, will be in the season premiere
-Kevin will have a big role in the upcoming season
